How to find the ShrineThe War Shrine is usually kept locked, but is opened for certain days of the year - see Current Openings & Events. It can also be opened by arrangement for groups. The Shrine is in Avenue Park, at Chestnut Avenue, North Stoneham, Eastleigh, Hampshire, SO53 3HN. There is ample car parking close to the Shrine, at the Doncaster Sports Pavilion Car Park, off Chestnut Avenue. The entrance to the car park is almost opposite the Cricketers Arms pub; there is a yellow overhead barrier to prevent tall vehicles entering the car park. The shortest path to the Shrine leads from the iron gate at the far end of the car park.
